Hydrangea involucrata 'Hortensis'
Though small, this is a very pretty and unusual hydrangea. Its sterile flowers, arranged in racemes that tend to bend down, are enclosed in bracts during the budding stage; once they have opened, they are made up of numerous sepals. Unfortunately this hydrangea does not multiply easily. Its size makes it suitable to be placed near borders. The delicate pink shades of its flowers give it a gentle, light, understated beauty.
