Hydrangea macrophylla 'Kardinal'
" Teller" introduced around 1989 that, as all the other plants of the "Teller" series. Carries the German name of a bird (or an insect). A compact but at the same time open shrub abounding with glossy leaves. Large lace-cap flowers with one or two "tidy-looking" circles of sterile florets surrounding the central fertile flowers; naturally all in a perfect cardinal red. About 1,50 meters, light shade.
