Hydrangea macrophylla 'Bläuling'
Another "Teller" bred in Wädenswil (Switzerland) in 1984. The flat lace-cap flower-head is made up of two or more rings of sterile florets with three or four slightly serrated sepals encircling the central fertile flowers. In acid soils, the colour is a marvellous bright blue. The leaves are bright green, delicately serrated with acuminate tips. The blooming is abundant and at times this shrub will produce new flower heads late in the season. About 1,40 meters.
