Hydrangea macrophylla 'Europa' | |
| Hydrangea macrophylla 'Europa' It is not advisable to plant this hydrangea in a soil that is only slightly acid (pH 6), because here it takes on a rather dull greyish-beige tinge. The best type of soil for it is either neutral (pH 6.5) or very acid (pH between 5.5 and 4): here the inflorescences are respectively a pleasant reddish pink or an interesting purplish blue with a cream centre. This hydrangea is very similar to the 'Hamburg' and 'Altona' ones. | |
