Hydrangea paniculata 'Praecox'
This hydrangea comes from Japan, and has the earliest flowering among the paniculate hydrangeas. The flowering lasts only three or four weeks, but is copious and spectacular. Moreover, in March or April, before the flowers blossom, the opening leaves are a delightful golden yellow and enrich the springtime colouring of the garden.
