Hydrangea serrata 'Beni temari'
Enchanting shrub coming from Japan, with open and mellow growth. The contrast between the pure white mop-head flowers produced on red branches and the intensly dark green leaves is truly striking. In the autumn the flowers tend to turn pink or red and so also the leaves. The term "beni" describes the particular crimson late summer colour and "temari" the shape of a little ball.
