Hydrangea serrata 'Blue Bird'
This medium-sized shrub comes from Japan. It is highly decorative, both because of the possibility of changing its colour (by controlling the pH of the soil) and because of the multicoloured display offered by the leaves with their bright green that becomes a pleasant brownish red on the tips. This hydrangea, whose flowers are delicately scented, grows best in the shade.
