Schizophragma
'Hydrangeoides' This is a fine climber with slender but profuse branches. Its flowers are interesting because of the presence of a bract that becomes similar to a white leaf. It is suitable for being planted as a climber or as a cover, and does best in shade or semi-shade. It is not a real hydrangea, though it belongs to the same family (Hydrangeaceae). There also exists a cultivar whose flowers are a delicate shade of pink (Schizophragma hydrangeoides roseum). | |
