Hydrangea paniculata 'Unique' This hydrangea was obtained in 1968 from the selection of a group of H. paniculata 'Floribunda' whose inflorescences were often damaged by birds. In this selection there remained only one specimen that did not have this problem, so it was called 'Unique'. Unlike other H. paniculata cultivars, it has an inflorescence whose tip is made up only of sterile flowers. It forms vigorous shrubs, very broad at the base and with a rounded shape. | |
