Hydrangea quercifolia 'Quercifolia'
This is a hardy shrub and offers, like the other H. quercifoliae, a dramatic display of colours, particularly because of its leaves, which resist a long time on the plant. It comes from the south-western United States, grows vigorously and produces large inflorescences in temperate climates; but it adapts well also to climates such as that of Great Britain, provided that it is placed in a sheltered, well-drained spot.
