Hydrangea macrophylla 'Holibel'
Recent variety introduced by the Dutch breeders Hofstede; supposedly a sport of the "Teller" 'Libelle'. The flower of this shrub will open in a lace-cap shape but very soon it grows into an extraordinary mop-head of the purest white. Sturdy and generously blooming, this plant -unlike most of the white hydrangea, appreciates some morning and afternoon sun.
