Hydrangea serrata 'Kiyosumisawa'
Graceful medium-size shrub. The inflorescence is a lacecap with a great number of pinky white flowers at the centre and sterile flowers on the outside. Its greatest attraction consists in the sterile flowers, which are white at the centre and edged with purplish red. The sepals are elegantly rounded, with a slightly pointed tip. Another characteristic that should not be overlooked is the handsome bright green foliage, which quickly becomes brownish red, and is decidedly narrow. The slender and sinuous branches are a warm brownish red. This hydrangea benefits from a site that is in the shade but has plenty of light.
